Used Office Furniture in Dunwoody, GA

Furnishing Offices Around Dunwoody

Dunwoody is the eastern half of Perimeter Center, the office district that grew up around Perimeter Mall after it opened in 1971 at GA 400 and I-285. About 40 percent of the Perimeter Community Improvement District sits inside Dunwoody, and that is where most of the city's office space is. Ravinia 3, at 34 stories the tallest building in Dunwoody, and the 10-story Hammond Exchange are part of that skyline. The Dunwoody MARTA station next to Perimeter Mall puts much of this district on the rail line. Towers like these turn over suites all the time, and every new tenant needs seating, desks and conference rooms set up before day one.

Those are the jobs where used furniture makes the biggest difference. A team moving into a Perimeter suite might need 30 task chairs that match, a few private-office desks and a boardroom table, all by a fixed date. Buying pre-owned name-brand pieces covers that list for far less than new, and it is ready now instead of weeks out.

Not all of Dunwoody is towers. Dunwoody Village, with its Colonial-style buildings near the Dunwoody Farmhouse, is a smaller-scale business center, and so are the Georgetown and Williamsburg commercial districts and the area around Georgia State University's Perimeter College campus. A small professional office there might only need a few good chairs and one solid desk, and a used Aeron or Leap fits that budget. From Ashford-Dunwoody Road, Tilly Mill Road or Peachtree Industrial, the drive to our showroom is short, so it is easy to come try chairs in person.
