Pre-owned5 in stockWhat the Humanscale Freedom Is
The Freedom is Humanscale's flagship ergonomic task chair, built around a weight-sensitive recline instead of springs and tension dials. Lean back and the counterbalance mechanism responds to your body automatically, so there's nothing to adjust or forget when a new person takes over the desk.
That simplicity is why it remains popular in Atlanta offices and why it holds up well on the used market. Chairs come through our warehouse from office closures, lease turnovers, and downsizing moves around metro Atlanta.
Checking Current Stock
Inventory turns over constantly as we take in local office buyouts, so what's on the floor changes week to week. The fastest way to confirm current stock, condition, and photos is our Available Inventory page, or call Will directly at 678-763-8975.
Walk-ins are always welcome, and our showroom typically holds more stock than what's listed online.
Comparing the Freedom to Other Ergonomic Chairs
Prefer a mesh back and a more structured feel? Look at our Steelcase Leap or Knoll Generation stock. For a direct breakdown of adjustability and fit, see our Aeron vs Leap guide.
To compare everything in this tier side by side, browse our ergonomic office chairs category.
Outfitting Multiple Desks
Furnishing more than a few desks? Our bulk office chairs page covers how we approach larger orders mixing Freedom chairs with other models depending on stock. We deliver across metro Atlanta and well beyond, and handle setup, installation, cubicle installation, and removal. Call us for delivery details.
Selling or Trading In Your Current Chairs
Replacing a batch of chairs? If your current seating is still in decent shape, we often buy it back. We purchase used office furniture from businesses going through closures, moves, or downsizing — Will makes an offer after seeing photos or doing a walkthrough.
Details are on our sell your office furniture page. This two-way approach has been part of how we operate since the business began in 1975 as Sliauter Inc.
